There aren’t many options for Smart Monitors out there, except for the obvious ones. But this time, Acer jumps on the bandwagon to release their own Smart Monitor – which appears to be a collaborative effort with another brand in the market. That said, say hello to the 27” Acer CS272 Smart Monitor, now available in Malaysia.

The 27” FHD IPS Panel covered monitor runs on WebOS, yep, the same OS owned by LG and we have seen on their other TV products. Hence the mention of a collaborative effort. That said, if you know how WebOS, you can pretty much treat this display like a TV in a sense and do tasks independently without the need to connect a device via HDMI as it supports a lot of apps natively for streaming, including support for Apple AirPlay, Miracast and Screen Mirroring both wired and wirelessly.
That said, the 27” Acer CS272 Smart Monitor uses a ZeroFrame design which looks beautiful on top of the white finish which I like. On the back of the monitor, you get HDMI ports, and USB Ports to attach the external webcam directly. So, if you are getting a smart monitor for your home or office use, this appears to be a better option.
