Xiaomi Smart Band 9 Malaysia: Here’s what it comes with for RM 199

Get ready for a new Smart Band because the Xiaomi Smart Band 9 is here. While there aren’t any major changes to the band itself, it does have some slight improvements that would make this band more accurate in tracking. As it does that, this time, it takes the style aspect of it further with its funky designs and so on.

The biggest improvement with the Xiaomi Smart Band 9 happens to be with the heart rate monitor’s accuracy which now offers 16% improvement compared to the predecessor. So with the improved sensor, it now does a better job at tracking all-day heart rate, SpO2 and 7-day resting HR Monitoring. And just like any other wearables they offer, it does give you all the metrics for stress levels and vitality scores. If you care about sleep tracking, then it does dive in slightly deeper and offers personalized recommendations for better sleep.

Under the hood, it houses a 233mAh battery, offering upto 21 days. It has an improved 1.62” inch AMOLED display which has 50% more brightness than the 8, hitting 1200nits peak brightness. And just like their other bands, you have a lot of modes to choose from while working out and get all the metrics you’d require to improve your consistency, performance and endurance. It has an improved vibration motor for better haptic feedback, in fact, it has switched to a linear motor.

All this enclosed in the metallic frame, make this a pretty premium feeling yet affordable and obtainable wearable Smar Band in the market.

Priced at RM 199, the Xiaomi Smart Band 9 comes in four different colours for you to choose from: Silver, Black, Blue and Rose. However, they do have some fancy names for these colours.
