Xiaomi Malaysia has brought in their new Xiaomi TV A Pro 2025 Series into Malaysia. There are three different models offered under the lineup: 2 Pro TVs and one non-Pro offering for those who are on a budget. Let’s take a closer look at them.
Xiaomi TV A Pro 2025 Series Malaysia
Starting off with the Xiaomi TV A Pro 2025, which comes in two different sizes: 43” and 55”, offers 4K QLED display with accurate colours and even can produce content in 4K HDR on top of the motion smoothing technology for the “smoothest” experience possible. As you’d expect, because these days all the TVs have them, and these surely do come with Dolby Audio, DTS X and DTS Virtual:X Support. It may not have HDMI 2.1 but it does have MEMC to give that smooth experience while playing games on it or watching movie.
All that is packed in this slim, almost bezel-less and pretty clean looking finish which might be the biggest key selling point for consumers that’s looking for a pretty TV to fit into their space. With that said, if you are planning to get your hands on the non-pro model, which is the Xiaomi TV A 55 2025, you actually do get exactly the same hardware as the Pro in the display front. However, there are some differences:
- While the Pro variant runs Mali G52 MP2, the non-pro runs Mali G52 MC1. It isn’t a huge difference, though there are four areas in which it does vary.
- Execution Units: 2 vs 1
- Shading Units: 32 vs 16
- Pixel Fillrate: 3.4GP/s vs 1.7 GP/s
- Performance FP32 (Float): 81.6 GFLOPS vs 40.8 GFLOPS
- The Pro variant gets a proper DCI-P3 certification with 94% accuracy whereas the non-Pro doesn’t have a specific certification, though it shouldn’t be a huge difference as it does give the most vibrant colour it can.
- The Pro has a 3.5mm headphone jack and sadly the non-Pro misses out on that.
As for the ports and connectivity on this TV, here’s what you get: Bluetooth 5.0, Wi-Fi, HDMI x 2, eARC HDMI x 1, USB 2.0, Composite In, Ethernet, Optical Digital Audio Out, CI+ Slot, Broadcasting System (DVB-T2/C, DVB-S2).
