Portable projectors have set this appeal of being a device you can bring anywhere to watch content together with your friends and family. And Yaber T2 Plus Projector has arrived in Malaysia. They do have a normal T2, however the T2 Plus gives a more complete experience, especially for those Google TV fans out there.

I must say that the Yaber T2 Plus Projector has a nice look going on in this cream-brown shade all around and the handle on the top is convenient enough for you to carry wherever you want. It doubles as a stand to give the slight incline you require to project onto the wall about 15 degrees.

Before we address the projector specification, let’s address the shiny logo with JBL on it. They have collaborated with JBL and Dolby Audio to give the best native sound within the projector possible. What’s cool is that you can just use the speakers via Bluetooth connectivity for upto 18 hours – which is a feature unheard of in the projector space. There are two drivers positioned on the left and right side of the Yaber T2 Plus Projector.

Under the hood, you have a 450 ANSI Lumens LED projector capable of shooting 1080p FHD from 40” to 120” and of course, you will have to adjust the distance enough to get it to work at 120”. Aligning the screen is no issue as it has Autofocus, Auto Keystone Connection, Intelligent Screen Alignment and Obstacle Avoidance. Yaber claims that with this projector, you can get upto 2 and a half hours of battery life – which is decent enough.

On the top, it does have an NFC tag, where you can tap and pair your phone immediately to use it as the remote conveniently. Since it is designed to spend more time outdoors, they have made the projector dustproof by fully sealing the optics and other aspects of the projector. Connectivity is not an issue as it has a proper full-size HDMI, Audio Out, Ethernet Port, USB-A, WiFi 6 and Bluetooth 5.0.

What makes the Yaber T2 Plus special is: that it comes with a special dongle, more specifically a TV Dongle included inside the box – which gives you access to Google TV and even supports Google Assistant. With this, your ability to use and consume any type of content is endless as you have access to some of the best apps through it. I do appreciate the smart approach of making it in a dongle, so when it comes to EOL – you can pick up a new dongle and use it with it.
