Unlike their previous Airwrap, which consumers can still get through the Official Dyson outlets, this time around, Dyson Malaysia has launched Dyson Airwrap i.d Multi-Styler and Dryer – which now connects to your device, giving you the power to customise the Airwrap to suit your hair – if this is what you are looking for, then read on to find out more about it.
Dyson Airwrap i.d Multi-Styler and Dryer Malaysia
The Airwrap i.d. is a multi-styler and dryer that features Intelligent Heat Control to measure and regulate heat, keeping the temperature below 150°C to protect hair from heat damage whilst still allowing users to get the volume in a curl. Just like their previous Airwrap, under the hood, you will find the 110,000rpm, Dyson digital motor V9 powering the entire Dyson Air wrap i.d Multi-Styler and Dryer.
The multi-styler comes with a set of 6 attachments, 3 of which are new. The new Conical Airwrap barrel is designed for styling closer to the root of the air. Combined with the Dyson Digital Motor V9, it aims to create the Coanda airflow – which helps with attracting and wrapping the hair, assisted by the multi-directional barrel to create curls in any direction with just one barrel.
The Large round volumizing brush has bristles to help direct airflow into the hair to increase volume and body; best used for styling whilst drying. Dyson then goes on to reintroduce the highly requested fast dryer attachment, built for quick drying. Alongside the new attachments, you still get the following attachments: the 40mm Airwrap long barrel, the soft smoothing brush and Dryer+Flyaway smoother.
Users can pair their Airwrap i.d. to the MyDyson app which provides a step-by-step guide to make curling and styling easier. The MyDyson app also has a feature that allows users to check their filter status, and with the help of the flashing white LED indicator, the Airwrap notifies users when it’s time to clean. A filter cleaning brush is included in the set to assist users with regular maintenance for their Airwrap. Users can even get personalised styling content through the app as well.
The Dyson Airwrap i.d Multi-Styler and Dryer and the accessories are packed in a nice Vinca blue storage case that also doubles as a phone/tablet holder on the case lid for ease of access whilst working on your hairdo.
Price and Availability
The Airwrap i.d. is going for RM2,899 and comes in two colours – Ceramic Patina and Vinca Blue. The product is available via Dyson’s Official Site and at physical Dyson stores located at The Gardens, Mid Valley Southkey and Demo Zone Beauty Lab – 1 Utama, Sunway Pyramid and Dyson Demo Beauty Lab at Queensbay Mall.
