Mopping has always been a chore and Dyson knows that. Unlike their Wet and Dry Cleaners, which we have seen before – such as the V12 Detect Slim Submarine – this time around, Dyson Malaysia has unveiled a dedicated cleaning machine that solely focuses on wet cleaning and that’s the Dyson WashG1 Wet Cleaner.
Dyson WashG1 Wet Cleaner
The Dyson WashG1 Wet Cleaner that comes with a 1-Litre water tank that can cover up to 3000 sq. ft. on a single charge. Dyson seeks to make maintenance more hygienic by packing in a combo of absorption and extraction technology to separate dirt and stains as you clean.
To make life easier with cleaning the brushes after mopping, Dyson introduces a debris tray designed with a 500-micron mesh to separate the murky water from the debris, whilst nylon bristled inner brush bars remove dirt from the microfibre rollers onto the tray. Therefore, users can avoid the entire process of manually cleaning off the rollers after a single use.
The two individually powered rollers counter rotate and are made of highly absorbent microfibre with 64,800 filaments per cm2, positioned at the front and back of the machine. Each roller comes with its own motor within that will spin at a consistent speed based on the selected mode to allow a smooth glide across floors. The pulse-modulated pump evenly distributes water through 26 hydration points along the width of each roller to ensure fast stain removal with each pass.
There are two tanks positioned vertically, each with a capacity of 0.8-litre to hold both clean and dirty water separately and are designed with large openings to allow for easy maintenance and cleaning. The internals have no sharp surfaces or crevices to prevent build up of dirt and grime inside the machine.
The Dyson WashG1 Wet Cleaner comes with three modes of hydration; low, medium and high modes, and will run continuously once selected. There is also an additional three sensitivity setting that allows users to fine-tune each mode to suit individual cleaning needs. There is a separate boost button to purge each roller with the maximum amount of water pressure for removal of stubborn dirt and dried-on stains.

The Dyson WashG1 retails at RM3,399 and you can now pre-order it through Dyson’s Official Site. However, if you happen to pre-order at any of the physical Dyson stores, users will receive complimentary Dyson Dual Microfibre rollers worth RM239.
