Magic the Gathering’s newest set, Duskmourn: House of Horror, is just around the corner and with it comes these juicy new promos. For players looking forward to these new promos, the month-long spoopy festival will start with pre-release on the 20th of September and will carry on till early November. Here are all the Duskmourn Events and Promos happening at your nearest LGS.

Duskmourn Buy-a-Box Promo

For those eager to get their hands on Duskmourn early, here’s the promo Wizards has in store for you; a spooky little kitty, Twitching Doll. Just like previous sets, this promo is only handed out with the purchase of any Play Booster box or Collector Booster box on a first-come, first-served basis. So, do make sure you’re an early-bird! On top of that, there is a possibility of getting a free Collector Booster Pack.

Pre-release begins on the 20th of September 2024.

Duskmourn Open “Haunted” House Promo

Existing players are encouraged to bring new friends or family and teach them how to play Magic from November 1st to November 3rd 2024 during this Haunted House Event. This is an excellent opportunity to share Magic with those close to you and also to meet new people.  The real reward is the friends we make along the way, but you’ll also receive this lovely little promo as a participation gift.

This promo card this time around is Night’s Whisper, a 2 mana cost (1 any colour and 1 Black) sorcery that draws you two cards at the additional cost of 2 life. A lovely reprint that’s completely on theme. Both new and existing players will receive one copy each of this promo for participating in this Open House Event. As a bonus, you’ll also receive an event exclusive Duskmourn themed sticker sheet.

Duskmourn Commander Party Promo

For Commander players out there, the set also has a promo for you too! If you’re familiar with Planechase from the March of Machines set, then be prepared for a little twist with the unique event Tiles. Once you’ve completed your journey through the Haunted House, you’ll receive a copy of Crippling Fear, the promo card for this event. The Commander Party event will be happening any time between October 4th to October 10th 2024, and additionally between November 1st and November 7th 2024.

Standard Showdown Promo

For lovers of the 60-card format, here’s the prize to fight for this time round; the second card of the Cowboy Bebop collaboration promo set, Disdainful Stroke, in traditional foil. Compete at any of the Standard events hosted by supporting stores for a chance to get your hands on this lovely promo anywhere from September 27th to November 7th 2024.

End of Year Store Championship Promos

Continuing the tradition of store championship, where you get to walk away with a special one-of-a-kind card as trophy, get ready for this round’s prizes. Starting from October 12th 2024 to January 5th 2025, players can compete for any of the following 3 Store Championship promos; Chromatic Sphere, Reality Smasher and a textless Void Winnower!

Trick or Treat? Duskmourn Limited Time Goodie Bags

Anywhere between October 25th to October 31st 2024, players may participate in a Trick event and receive a special goodie bag that players will be using for a Sealed Deck event. Alternatively, players may purchase sealed Duskmourn products worth USD75.00 in store for the Treat promotional goodie bag to take home.

The goodie bag contains the following treats:

  • 4 Duskmourn: House of Horrors Play Boosters
  • 2 random Magic: The Gathering Boosters
  • 1 Emblem card
