As we enter the month of October, Mariah Carey is defrosting as we speak, and so in preparation for the end-year festivities, Logitech Malaysia is releasing a slew of new gamer-centric gear; from mouse to headphones – in conjunction to LogiPlay event. Whether you’re looking to upgrade your tools or pick up a gift for an avid gamer you know, LogiPlay might just have what you need.

Logitech LogiPlay Pro Series Gear

Logitech G Pro X Superlight 2 DEX Gaming Mouse

Working closely with hundreds of professional esports athletes from titles like Counter-Strike and Valorant, LogiPlay now brings us the Pro X Superlight 2 DEX, an asymmetric, right-handed designed gaming mouse. Applying the Lightspeed Wireless Technology, the Pro X Superlight 2 DEX is upgraded to support 8KHz pilling for ultra-fast and responsive performance.

Paired with the new Hero 2 sensor that offers unmatched tracking performance with speeds of over 888 inches per second with acceleration over 88G, the Pro X Superlight 2 DEX is built to be smooth and highly responsive. The Lightforce Switches are aimed to improve optical sensing for reliable and instant actuation with a mechanical component for low power consumption.

Manufactured with 55% post-consumer recycled ABS plastic, the Pro X Superlight 2 DEX is eco-friendly, all whilst maintaining its weight at 60g. Despite its slightly larger proportions, the Pro X Superlight 2 DEX maintains the same weight as the Pro X Superlight.

Logitech G Pro 2 Lightspeed Gaming Mouse – Upgraded

To our surprise, LogiPlay announces an upgrade for their Pro 2 Lightspeed gaming mouse alongside the new Pro gaming mouse. Keeping the same design as the original, they’ve upgraded the Pro 2 Lightspeed wireless gaming mouse with new components and given it the latest performance enhancements; featuring the new Lightspeed wireless technology and the Hero 2 sensor that the Pro X Superlight 2 DEX is running on.

Logitech G Pro X TKL Rapid Tenkeyless Wired Gaming Keyboard

Logitech introduces its first ever magnetic analogue keyboard, the Pro X TKL Rapid Tenkeyless wired gaming keyboard, aimed to give professional gamers the power to execute movements and commands with exceptional speed and precision. The magnetic analogue switches are custom-designed with adjustable actuation points that can be configured without software, making it ideal for esports pros who must configure new hardware on systems where software installations aren’t allowed.

However, users can still configure the keyboard via the G Hub and assign one or more pairs of keys to measure and compare actions, such as travel distance, last press, and neutral or absolute priority. The Pro X TKL Rapid implements the Simultaneous Opposing Cardinal Directions (SOCD) resolution for key priority to give players more precision, speed and control over the in-game movement for consistent rapid triggers.

Logitech G G915 Series

Logitech G G915 X Gaming Keyboard

With a height of 23mm, the G915 X is Logitech’s thinnest low-profile wireless keyboard. The galvanic switch has been completely redesigned for the G915 X, replacing the switches’ hook-style stem with the new POM, cross-style stem. The new design aims to improve the overall stability of the keys for a better and quieter typing experience, on top of simplifying replacement and customisation of keycaps.

The G915 X switches’ actuation point has also been reduced from 1.5mm to 1.3mm for quicker actuation. The keycaps have also been upgraded from the ABS keycaps to a double-shot, shine-through PBT keycap, that offers better resistance to wear and tear, whilst also reducing visibility of potential oil from your fingers.

The aluminium top plate thickness of the G915 X has been increased from 1.2mm to 1.5mm to improve the G915 X’s structural strength whilst maintaining its slim overall build. The G915 X maintains the same tri-mode connectivity of the G913 Lightspeed, sporting Logitech’s 2.4 GHz ultrafast Lightspeed wireless for seamless responsiveness and reliable connectivity.

Without compromising performance, the G915 X has an improved battery life. With the backlighting off, the full-size G915 X delivers up to 800 hours of battery life. Even at 100% RGB brightness and on Lightspeed, the G915 X will offer up to 36 hours of continuous use, which is a 20% improvement over the original. The tenkeyless version of the G915 X will offer up to 1,000 hours with lighting off and 42 hours of battery life at 100% brightness.

In addition to the original volume roller, the G key, and the media buttons, the G915 X now comes with KEYCONTROL. Any key can become a powerful macro that combines multiple commands into a single keypress. Users can turn the numpad on the G915 X into a full gaming command centre or combine it with the G shift key on the mouse to give all the keys on the keyboard a different set of commands.
