One of the surprise announcements from Xiaomi Malaysia happens to be the new Xiaomi Mix Flip, which is finally heading to global markets. That said, here’s what you are getting and the deals which we will update once we get more information.

Here’s everything we know about the Xiaomi Mix Flip. On the outside, the phone houses a 4.01” display with more functionality than Samsung’s very own flip which we have seen so far. Wrapped around the display is the dual-camera setup, and we are getting a 50MP Main and 50MP Telephoto instead of an ultrawide, which is an amazing setup and not one we see in flip phones. Once you flip the phone open, you are greeted with a 6.86” 1.5K Display with 3000nits peak brightness and 120Hz refresh rate.
The hinge is pretty solid for flip photography and you can adjust it anywhere from 45 to 120 degrees to get the best advantage while shooting content with it. Powering the phone is the Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 with 12GB RAM and 512GB storage, the variant Malaysia is getting. That said, the phone supports 67W HyperCharge and charges up the 4780mAh battery pretty fast. To keep the thermals at bay, it does have a Vapor Chamber cooling which will keep things cool under pressure.
Pricing and Availability
The Xiaomi Mix Flip listing on Shopee Malaysia has a placeholder price tag, however, it will be going on sale starting 27th September at 6pm, the same time the Xiaomi 14T will be available for pre-order as well. We are only getting the 12GB with 512GB storage, however, it will be available in both colours – Purple and Black with freebies worth upto RM 3227.
