It’s that time of the year, and our January is looking pretty packed and good with really good amounts of new technology that’s being launched globally and eventually find its way to Malaysia. One of which is the Samsung Galaxy S25 Series Launch which finally has an official date and here’s what you should know so far.

It’s no secret that Samsung will be unveiling the flagship trio – S25, S25+ and S25 Ultra, all three catered to different type of users and audience based on their preferences and perhaps budget too.
We may not know so much other than the usual leaks, which we will give a TL;DR of it below; but aside from that, expect this new series to offer a granular upgrade in the right direction, which has been the case for the past few years and that’s perfectly fine to us. And as always, the software department to get the most upgrades which makes the hardware perform a lot better for sure.
- For the first time in a long time, all the S25, S25+ and S25 Ultra will be powered by Snapdragon 8 Elite for Galaxy and we may not see an Exynos version. But expect the phone to be more expensive as the 8 Elite processor is an expensive processor.
- 12GB RAM to be the standard across all the model, so no more 8GB.
- We are getting a much more note like finish with the S25 Ultra, with flatter sides – making it easier to hold as you use a big device like such.
- There’s no hint of the S25 Slim, which means there is a chance we may or may not see one at all.
- There won’t be a lot of changes with the S25 and S25+ afterall, in the camera and battery department at least.
Aside from the S25 Series, rumor has it, we will be seeing a new generational upgrade of the Galaxy Ring announced globally, and it will be making its way to Malaysia along with the S25 series. To be honest, if it does – you best bet this is going to be a great addition to the wearables, especially for users who don’t fancy a smartwatch and needs the essentials to be tracked while they are on the move, idle and so on.
For now, we will have to wait and see what to expect but there’s a good chance we will be seeing the product soon for us to share with you on the day of the launch. So, stay tuned to us. We are really looking forward to this one. These devices are making its debut in 2025, on 22nd January in San Jose, California and that’s 23rd January, 2am here in Malaysia.
