With the global launch of the Redmi Note 14 Pro Series over, Malaysia is one of the first countries to get the new mid-tier smartphones. Here’s what you need to know about the specifications and pricing.

For the most part, the Redmi Note 14 Pro and Redmi Note 14 Pro+ 5G share almost identical features out of the box: both devices feature a 6.67” CrystalRes AMOLED Display with 1.5K resolution, which is covered in the curved Corning Gorilla Glass Victus 2 for better durability. The phone features a triple-camera setup on the back: a primary 200MP f/1.65 camera with 8MP f/2.2 Ultra Wide and a 2MP Macro camera. As for the front, you get a 20MP f/2.2 camera.

Under the hood, depending on the model – you will get 8GB RAM for the Pro and 12GB RAM for the Pro+ with 256GB or 512GB storage options. There are some slight differences between both the models: starting with the Processor – the Pro gets the MediaTek Dimensity 8300-Ultra and the Pro+ 5G gets the Snapdragon 7s Gen 3. The charging speeds vary as well, with the Pro getting a 45W Turbo Charging and the Pro+ getting the super fast 120W HyperCharge. Finally, both the phones feature a 5110mAh battery which gets you through the day.

Other notable features include IP68 protection, Support for Wi-Fi 6E (only for the Pro+), Bluetooth 5.4 and of course some of the AI features that are making their way to these Redmi Note series for the first time.

Pricing and Availability

As for the pricing, the Redmi Note 14 Pro is priced at RM 1199 for 8GB RAM and 256GB Storage and the 12GB RAM with 256GB for RM 1299. The Redmi Note 14 Pro+ 5G will be available in two configurations: 12GB RAM with 256GB going for RM 1,699 and 12GB RAM with 512GB for RM 1,899 respectively. Some pre-order deals are going on at the moment where you can get goodies worth up to RM 1537, which includes the following:

  • BamBam Limited Edition Gift Set (only available from 11th till 15th January 2025)
  • Xiaomi Smart Air Purifier 4 Compact worth RM 459 if pre-ordered through stores from 11th till 15th January 2025 and collection must be within 16th till 19th January.
  • Redmi Note 14 Pro 5G 8GB RAM with 256GB Storage will be an online exclusive variant and you can pick it up for RM 1099 from 11th till 24th January 2025, at Mi.com, Shopee and Lazada.
