Other than the Samsung Galaxy S25 Series launch, which is pretty much a yearly ordeal for Samsung at this point – was not the biggest highlight at Unpacked 2025. That crown goes to the Edge and yes, that name lives on through the upcoming Samsung Galaxy S25 Edge. A mysteriously thin smartphone with no hints about what you can expect from it.
Samsung Galaxy S25 Edge Launch
The Samsung Galaxy S25 Edge is finally official, though not quite a 100% official if you ask me. Here’s why. During the Unpacked 2025, Samsung showcased the trailer with some mysterious hardware and such about the phone and during the display, it was protected by proper security and no one was allowed to get near it. But from whatever we have seen: there’s a dual-camera setup, very iPhone-like, it’s ridiculously thin and maybe be thin enough to just fit a USB-C port. But from all the photos, we couldn’t catch a glimpse of the USB-C port.
As mysterious as it seems, Samsung did hint that the phone will be powered by the same processor and hardware as the S25 series, although there’s no confirmation on what we will find under the hood in areas like the battery and such. But hey, are you excited about it? Let us know in the comments below because we think this is the excitement we missed in the Smartphone space, more specifically from Samsung.
