ASUS has made flip laptops in the past under other lineups, but this might be the first time we are seeing the ASUS Vivobook Flip and it’s now in Malaysia. Here’s what you need to know about their new laptop.

ASUS Vivobook Flip Malaysia

The ASUS Vivobook Flip turns the traditional laptop into a 360-convertible laptop, giving users the versatility to use their laptop however they want, as the opportunity presents. That said, the hinge is well designed and with the support for ASUS Pen 2.0 – this laptop could very well be a good one to write, sketch and such. The Vivobook Flip comes in two different display configurations: 14” FHD+ OLED at 60Hz or a 16” 3K OLED display at 120Hz.

Powered by the latest Intel Core Ultra Series 2, you can get the amazing efficiency and performance these Ultra processors entail. Now, yes AI is a thing and you are getting the dedicated NPU in the processor which hits 47 TOPS when you use the local AI features. There’s only one processor configuration available and that’s the Intel Core Ultra 7 Processor 258V which is more than enough for your use case. As for graphics, the laptop resorts to Intel Arc Graphics 140V. Under the hood, you’ll find a 32GB LPDDR5X RAM in a Memory-on-Package, similar to the Studiobook we saw years ago and 1TB Gen4 NVMe SSD.

Don’t worry about the ports as the laptop houses: 1x USB 3.2 Gen 1 Type-A, 1x USB 3.2 Gen 2 Type-C, 1x Thunderbolt™ 4, 1x HDMI 2.1 TMDS, 1x 3.5mm Combo Audio Jack and a Micro SD card reader. The ASUS Vivobook Flip comes with a 65W USB-C Power Delivery Adapter and the battery capacity is at 70Wh for the 14” and 75Wh for the 16”.

Pricing and Availability

The ASUS Vivobook Flip will be priced at RM 6,099 for the 16” inch variant and RM 5,999 for the 14” inch variant. Minor differences in the price but it depends on which one you want to opt in for. These laptops are available for purchase starting today.
