Creative Labs is no stranger to the audio scene as they have 42 years of expertise in making consumer products and even to some extent, studio level too. That said, the brand has unveiled two new products in Malaysia – their new co-axial USB-C speaker, Creative Pebble Nova and a new addition to their xMEMS powered earbud lineup, the Aurvana Ace Mimi.

Creative Pebble Nova

Creative Pebble Nova

The Creative Pebble Nova is a beautifully designed speaker that looks like a pod that came out of outer space. These are their new premium 2.0 channel speakers which use coaxial drivers and there are some interesting choices which make this speaker interesting. For starters, the speaker is designed and angled at 45 degrees to provide an ideal listening experience for users and when they mentioned coaxial design: the tweeter and woofers are aligned in such a way, to achieve good cohearance and precision. For those who fancy RGB, these speakers glow bright in the base and can be customized according to your liking.

The speakers can also be used to stream wirelessly via Bluetooth aside from a 3.5mm AUX-in and USB-C audio input. For those who want’s to know more on the codec, it uses SBC and the version of Bluetooth is 5.3. On top of that, you can customize more than its lighting via the Creative software and since more devices now support USB-C for audio, including PS5, this speaker is looking pretty good for most users.

Creative Aurvana Ace Mimi

Creative Aurvana Ace mimi

Cute name aside, the Creative Aurvana Ace Mimi is their second xMEMS powered earbuds, after the first Aurvana which debuted these drivers on a wireless earbuds. The mimi in its name is basically their way of showing that these pair can do sound personalization with the app and it doesn’t end there. These earbuds are packed with features, which could impress many users out there: from support for LDAC, BT 5.3, LE Audio and even Hybrid Adaptive ANC – I must say that the Aurvana Ace Mimi is an interesting earbuds overall.

The xMEMS driver you see here are very rare to comeby on wireless earbuds as they are the solid-state drivers which you would usually find in wired hi-fi earbuds. It comes in a 10mm size and claims to hit very good range of audio levels. The battery life on these are supposed to hit upto 28 hours and can be charged with USB-C or built in Qi compatible wireless chargers.
