With Xiaomi done with their 15 series launch, it’s no surprise that Poco is going to follow suit—and they sure did with the Poco F7 Series, which consists of the Poco F7 Pro, which runs the Snapdragon 8 Gen 3, and the Poco F7 Ultra, which gets the new Snapdragon 8 Elite processor. But what’s interesting is the price point you are about to get it at, so let’s dive into that.

Poco F7 Ultra Malaysia

The Poco F7 Ultra is the new gaming-centric smartphone from the budget-conscious contender with impressive hardware, which focuses on all performance than anything else. For starters, the processor powering the Poco F7 Ultra is the latest flagship option from Snapdragon, and the Snapdragon 8 Elite, despite being a toasty processor, has proven to be really powerful, making gamers all excited for it. You get an option of 12GB or 16GB RAM with 256GB or 512GB storage.

On the front, you find the phone equipped with a 6.67” 2K 120Hz AMOLED display, which will blow your minds away for what it is. Coupled with the display is the new VisionBoost D7 Chipset, which is supposed to offer better graphics and sharpness while keeping the energy consumption at an efficient level.

On the rear, the phone touts a triple camera setup: a primary 50MP main camera, which is the same Light Fusion 800 sensor we find in the Xiaomi 15 with 6P Lens without the Leica magic; a secondary 50MP 60mm equivalent telephoto camera; and finally, a 32MP ultra-wide camera. On the front, you’ll find a 32MP front-facing camera.

As for the battery capacity, the phone offers a whopping 5300mAh with support for 120W HyperCharge and 50W Wireless HyperCharge. You do get the phone powered by HyperOS with their new HyperAI features, it features IP68, NFC, ultrasonic in-display fingerprint sensor and of course stereo dual speakers.

Both the Poco F7 Pro and Ultra are making it into Malaysia – you can check out the pricing for the Pro by clicking here. The Poco F7 Ultra is priced at RM 2,999 for the 12GB + 256GB configuration and RM 3,299 for the 16GB RAM with 512GB Storage. Both the variants will get slashed to RM 2,699 (256GB) and RM 2,899 (512GB) until 9th April and will receive the 50W Wireless Charger worth RM 229 for free.
