Can the Acer Swift series go any lighter? Well, it sure can because Acer has unveiled their new Acer Swift Lite 14 in Malaysia and coming in at 999 grams – this laptop might interest you.
Acer Swift Lite 14 Malaysia
For starters, the Acer Swift Lite 14 is their latest laptop that weight a gram less from a kg – keeping the laptop at 999 grams. While this may not take the lightest laptop award, it still is pretty light for most users. On the front, you see a 16:10 aspect ratio display in 14” with a resolution of WUXGA, and that’s 1920 x 1200. Acer claims that the laptop can offer battery life as long as 10 hours – which means the battery capacity is shaved off to maintain the weight.
In terms of power, you are looking at Intel Core Ultra 5 and Ultra 7 Series 2 processors under the hood, which is expected. As for the ports, you are looking at 2x USB-C, HDMI, and USB-A on one end, and on the other end, you’ll find the Kensington Lock and the Headphone Combo Jack. The laptop comes in two different colours for you to choose from: a more generic pink and a silver finish with funky engravings that might appeal to a bunch of users.
Pricing and Availability
The Acer Swift Light 14 is priced at RM 3,799 for the Intel Core Ultra 5 and RM 4,399 for the Intel Core Ultra 7 variant. At the time of writing, there will be an RM 100 redemption for the Ultra 7 and an RM 80 redemption for the Ultra 5. As part of the launch promo, consumers will receive an RM 79 Acer Wireless Bubble Mouse.
