With Computex 2025 right around the corner, ASUS Malaysia have chose to refresh the ASUS Vivobook S14 2025 and Vivobook S16 2025 models earlier – with new processor, hardware and a price that might appeal to you.
ASUS Vivobook S14 2025 and Vivobook S16 2025

Both the ASUS Vivobook S14 and S16 have different displays configured based on your budget, of course. The S14 features a 14” FHD IPS 60Hz, and the S16 features a 16” FHD+ 144Hz IPS panel instead. Both offer a higher screen-to-body ratio with a 16:10 aspect ratio that’s just perfect in today’s world and use-case scenarios.
As for the hardware, the Vivobook S14 comes with a choice of Intel Core i5-13420H processor or the newer Intel Core Ultra 7 Processor, 16GB of on-board DDR5 memory with an extra SO-DIMM slot, so RAM upgrade is possible, 1TB of PCIe Gen 4 SSD, WiFi 6, 70Wh battery and charging via USB-C at 65W . Both the variants despite the processor differences, weighs at 1.39KG and it’s 1.79cm thin – making it perfectly viable for users who want a laptop with that profile. It does come with Microsoft Home and Student 2024 included with a free 365 Basic subscription for one year.

The Vivobook S16 is available in one variant: the Intel Core i5-13420H Processor. At the time of writing, there’s no Intel Core Ultra variant. As for the rest, it is pretty much the same as the S14 with minor weight differences, at 1.7kg.
Both laptops feature the same set of ports: 2x USB 3.2 Gen 1 Type-A, 2x USB 3.2 Gen 1 Type C, which works for Display Output, Data Transfer, and PD, 1x HDMI 1.4, and 1x 3.5mm combo audio jack. They also house the newer chiclet keyboard, which claims to offer a quieter typing experience.
Pricing and Availability

Starting from 19th May, consumers can purchase all three-model mentioned above at the following price: the S14 13th Generation processor and the S16 with the same processor goes for RM 3,199 and the S14 Core Ultra variant goes for RM 4,099. That’s not all, if you are hoping for an Qualcomm Snapdragon X variant, it’s coming soon – later in July 2025.
