There is a plethora of Storage solutions to go for in the market, and BiWin is a name you don’t hear often – well, Raspberry users, you might have as you might see their logo in those 2230 SSDs – however, here’s a fun fact: there are many storages in the market that’s being sold under a different name are actually made by BiWin. However, at Computex 2025, BiWin is entering the storage space by offering an entire arsenal of storage and memory solutions for general consumers to enthusiasts.
Computex 2025 BiWin
Their Key Highlights
Let’s get the main highlights out of the way – because BiWin is coming strong into the storage and memory space with offerings that could match existing performance-centric products that exist in the market.

The new BiWin Black Opal X570 Series are their new PCIe Gen 5 SSDs that offers crazy reads and write speeds, hitting upto 14500MB/s mark. The Pro SSDs offers a 4GB DRAM cache which offers 2000K IOPs random read speeds for faster high-load scenarios. For those who doesn’t require DRAM, you can settle for their DRAM-less version which leverages over Host Buffer Memory and dynamic SLC caching.

The Biwin Black Opal OC Lab Gold Edition is their cherry picked DDR5 RAM kit which comes with 4x48GB RAMs, which is a total of whopping 192GB. This RAM kit is no joke as it’s OC optimized and comes int two configurations: DDR5-6400 CL30 1.4V or DDR5-6000 CL28 1.4V.
As for the Rest

That’s not all that they have showcased, because they are targeting the entire storage market – with entry level SSDs for more casual daily usage to professional tools like CF-A and CF-B Express Cards, portable SSDs by the name Amber Series, which has the right kind of ruggedness and reliability in situations that requires it.

I am excited to see more CF-A and CF-B made available in the market because the wider the selection, the better the competition gets, and this is where the price finally comes to a range where it’s more obtainable for consumers. These cards are no slouch either, with speeds like 3750MB/s for the CB500 and 1850MB/s for the CA500 – you are looking at pretty good quality CFExpress cards for your devices.

The Amber PR2000 Portable SSD relies on the USB 3.2 Gen 2×2 protocol offering speeds upto 2000MB/s read and 1800MB/s write speed – with IP67, 3-meter drop protection and offering capacities up to a whopping 8 TB.
