With weeks away from the next generation of foldables and wearables from Samsung right around the corner, leaks are bound to surface. Our trusty Evan Blass has graced us with the new Samsung Galaxy Watch8 Series and this is the biggest revamp in design we have seen in a long time.

Samsung Galaxy Watch8 Series Leak

Consisting of three different models, the Galaxy Watch Active, Classic and Ultra – though last year, we didn’t see a Classic model – this year, it appears that we have three options to choose from. Based on Evan Blass leak, which honestly isn’t much to go on with: we do see three different models, which could very well be the Active, Classic and Ultra. These are huge changes because we haven’t seen a design change on the Galaxy Watch Series in a long time – since the Gear days.

With this new design choices – it’s safe to say that there’s one for every kind of users. Starting with, what appears to be the Galaxy Watch8 Active, has the cleanest design we have ever seen so far – with stitches on the end of the bands, with two buttons on the side and no crown to be seen and a display that’s circular but the stainless steel frame gives it a more square-ish finish, mimicking the looks of the Ultra.

And then there’s the Samsung Galaxy Watch8 Classic, at least, that’s how it looks – with three buttons on the side, including a crown button, a outer bezel with indicators and it appears to be a rotatable bezel with ridges – which is a welcoming addition as I am a huge fan of the rotatable bezel and uses a leather-like strap which could be the same ones we saw with the Watch6 Classic. Again, we see the pattern here with this watch touting a circular face on a square-ish case.

Finally, the Samsung Galaxy Watch Ultra (2025) gets a new shade of colour for the band and the watch while retaining the Titanium case with a circular display. For the most part, we should be seeing the same, if not slightly improved hardware which we have no information on. But it’s safe to say that we are looking forward to the potential Watch Classic and Active because those two are looking pretty interesting.
