We are months away from Samsung’s next generation of Foldables and Flippables, which we are pretty excited about. With the normal S Series Ultra smartphone maturing into what it is we see today, it’s about time the brand turns a new leaf and looks elsewhere to truly bring meaning to the Ultra Moniker.
Samsung Ultra-Foldable Smartphone
With the Samsung Galaxy Z Flip 7 and Z Fold 7 on their way, sometime in July or August 2025, personally, I do hope that the 2025 Foldables are pivotal in terms of technology and innovation because Samsung has been playing it too safely lately. But with this new teaser for an Ultra Foldable dropped earlier today, Samsung claims that this won’t be a minor improvement; in fact, they aim to create “Ultra-experience that goes beyond a simple list of upgraded features in a smaller and more portable form factor.”
This would also be the phone where Samsung will address the need for bigger screens, better cameras, “and new ways to connect and create” – which could potentially mean that we are going to get a much better OneUI for foldables. For the most part, we know what the OneUI’s AI features entail because we have experienced it with the S25 Series and other smartphones from Samsung as well.
But with this announcement, and with Samsung showing signs of excitement, which was missing with their previous generation of smartphones, it’s safe to say – Samsung is back again to rock everyone’s socks off.
