You may or may not be familiar with this name, but if you’re not, the Logitech Astro is the brand’s premium gaming gear, considered the crème de la crème, available only in select countries. Malaysia sure has missed out on a lot of the great ones, including the coveted A50 X. Still, this time around, in fact, for the first time, we finally get the Logitech Astro product officially available in Malaysia – and say hello to the Logitech Astro A20 X.

While it isn’t the A50 X, which I understand, because who doesn’t want the G-PRO Graphene Drivers, the Logitech Astro A20 X opens the door, not only to the Astro lineup but also gives users a taste of what it brings to the table. For the first time, in the Astro lineup, we see LIGHTSYNC RGB featured on the headphones, which has never been a thing in the Astro lineup. The way it blends with the all-black finish is something I dig a lot.

With the Logitech Astro A20 X, you get to experience PLAYSYNC AUDIO – and with this, you can switch between multiple consoles for a more seamless audio experience. Best part, it supports anything from PC, PlayStation, XBOX and even Nintendo Switch. It’s the one-stop audio solution for multi-console players.

The headphones weigh less than 300 grams, which is pretty amazing, and since it is tuned for comfort, you won’t feel the headphones present on your head, and this allows you to game with no distractions and no need to constantly adjust. The headphone features the G PRO Drivers, more specifically the 40mm Biocellulose driver, which has the ability to deliver 24-bit/48 kHz from PC or 16-bit/48kHz via Console. The 48 kHz full-bandwidth boom microphone is going to be a great companion if you play multiplayer games.

And that’s not all, there’s a subtle red LED on the microphone that only the users can see, which is a good and subtle way of knowing that the microphone is muted. All of these rely on the LIGHTSPEED connection, but if you would like to connect via Bluetooth, that’s possible too, as it supports Bluetooth 5.3.
