Logitech G has been cranking up the simulator game, and their efforts have been pretty fruitful for both users and the brand. But this time, they have taken it to another level by bringing a more true-to-life racing experience to gamers with the new Logitech RS50 System Simulator with Direct Drive, and it’s available in Malaysia.

The new Logitech RS50 System Simulator is a plug-and-play system for users to just setup and get it up and running in no time. The thing about the RS system is that it is compatible with other RS and PRO series peripherals – making it versatile and wallet-friendly to scale up or upgrade the other parts when you can. So, all you need is the Logitech G Racing adapter, and you are good to go.
The key feature of the RS50 is the Direct Drive Motor, which is mounted to the steering shaft, so that users can feel the responsiveness and the precision instantaneously. It’s no longer “like-driving-a-real-car” but more of an “exactly-like-driving-a-real-car”.

With this new system, you get that higher torque and a much clearer feedback while you do a lap in your preferred racing game. But to get more specific, the Logitech RS50 does an 8nm of torque, which, according to Logitech, is the sweet spot for a good simulator driving experience. Paired with that is the TRUEFORCE technology, which blends the audio and in-game physics seamlessly between the game and the player.
The RS50 is designed to work well with either a table setup or on a rig – so, there’s no need to worry about it. On top of that, there’s a steering wheel choice for everyone. In fact, with the collaboration with McLaren, there’s even an F1-like yolk steering wheel with a splash of Papaya Orange on it – sold separately, of course.

As for the pricing of the Logitech RS50 System Simulator, it will cost you a pretty RM 3,490, and good simulators come at a cost – and this potentially could be the one that satisfies a lot of racing fans out there.
