The T Series from Xiaomi has always been a MediaTek powerhouse smartphone and brings an interesting experience to the market, especially with the price bracket it’s in. This year, the Xiaomi 15T and Xiaomi 15T Pro have arrived in Malaysia with impressive improvements. So, let us share all the information.
Xiaomi 15T and Xiaomi 15T Pro
The Xiaomi 15T Series consists of two models to choose from. Starting with the Xiaomi 15T Pro, it’s powered by the new MediaTek Dimensity 9400+ and comes with 12GB RAM by default. On the front, the phone houses the biggest display we have ever seen on a Xiaomi T Series at 6.83” with 1.5K resolution, hitting 3200nits brightness.
The battery features a 5500mAh capacity with fast charging capabilities. The IP68 certification ensures the phone is safe to use in wet situations, and the display is protected by Corning Gorilla Glass 7i.
The biggest improvement in the phone is the camera. While the two cameras remain the same, the floating telephoto camera from Xiaomi 14T is now replaced with a Periscope Camera that can do 115mm to 230mm in-sensor zoom with f/3.0 aperture. The Xiaomi 15T, on the other hand, uses the Mediatek Dimensity 8400 Ultra processor with 12GB RAM. For the most part, like the display, battery, IP certification, and the glass are pretty much the same as the Xiaomi 15T Pro. The minor changes you’ll notice here are the WiFi 6E upgrade and the camera, which still retains a similar setup from last year with a functional triple camera.
Another newsworthy information worth sharing happens to be the new Update cycle. Starting from this series, Xiaomi refreshes its update cycles to 6 years of Security Updates for both 15T and Pro, but the 15T Pro gets 5 Years of updates, whereas the 15T gets 4 Years of Software updates.
Xiaomi 15T Pricing and Pre-order Malaysia
The Xiaomi 15T will be available in three colours: Rose Gold, Black and Grey and two variants to choose from: 256GB going for RM 1,899 and 512GB going for RM 2,199. The Xiaomi 15T Pro comes in three colours – Mocha Gold, Grey and Black with three storage configurations to choose from. 256GB priced at RM 2,699, 512GB priced at RM 2,999 and the 1TB variant going for RM 3,499.
Xiaomi Malaysia is offering an early bird promotion and pre-order in Malaysia from September 25th to October 2nd, 2025. Consumers purchasing the Xiaomi 15T and 15T Pro will receive the following freebies and benefits.
After the Pre-order phase, from 3rd October till 31st October 2025, you can still receive the same digital pre-order benefits as mentioned above, but the freebies will vary: 15T Pro will get you the Redmi Buds 5 Pr,o whereas the Xiaomi 15T will get you a Xiaomi Smart Band for free.
