If you know Acer for its creator lineup, that would be the ConceptD, but it’s a shame that the lineup has ceased to exist. However, the Acer ProDesigner lineup is supposed to carry on the baton, and they have unveiled a new 6K OLED Monitor that caught my attention, and that’s the Acer ProDesigner PE0.

CES 2026 Acer ProDesigner PE0

To be frank, you don’t need a 6K monitor, but the Acer ProDesigner PE0 has all the makings of a good creator monitor, and if you want one, this is probably worth considering. Having owned the 4K Predator monitor for creation once upon a time, Acer has rarely dropped the ball on its premium lineup of monitors. This one here features a QD-OLED panel with 10-bit colour science and supports DisplayHDR True Black 600 for ultra-high contrast.

Just like any creator monitor, you need the absolutely accurate colours produced on your panel and with Delta E<1, Calman Verified supports both DCI-P3 and Adobe RGB at 99% colour gamut. It really does give the confidence you need in that space.

And that’s not all, Acer made something pretty unusual with this monitor. It supports AMD FreeSync Premium Pro with a 240Hz refresh rate and 0.01ms response time, which is crazy. But it makes so much sense if you are a hybrid user like me who uses the monitor for both work and play. The release claims that it supports touchscreen with MPP 2.0 stylus support, which we need to see in person to verify this.

In terms of connectivity, you are getting HDMI 2.1, DP 2.1, USB-C with 100W PD and USB-C with 15W – which honestly is great. Now, for those who don’t need an OLED panel, there’s the 6K IPS panel version, the ProDesigner PE320QX, which instead has a 8bit+FRC and a 4ms response time with unspecified Hz. Might be something worth looking into for a more friendly priced creator monitor.
