Razer has always taken immersion seriously, and this time, they have taken it to a whole new level with the Razer Project Madison. It’s not your usual gaming chair, but it’s the gaming chair you would want to play the game, not as the character, but be the character.

CES 2026 Razer Project Madison

Designed to look like an Arcade seat, which is where we feel the Gaming chair has taken its inspiration from, you will notice a lot of interesting things going on with Razer Project Madison. For starters, beside the headrest sit two THX Spatial Audio certified speakers, which should blow your mind off as it can do 5.1 or 7.1 when paired with your preferred desktop speaker, be it any kind really. Or you can set up these speakers on the chair as your primary audio setup.

Next up, there’s the RGB element, powered by Razer Chroma, which can be customised however you like. I do hope there’s some in-game light sync which could potentially make the gaming experience a whole lot more fun. Now on to the star of the show, the Razer Sensa HD Haptics, which you will find on the backrest of the Project Madison. This particular area is supposed to simulate real-time, dynamic and lifelike haptics through the six integrated motor actuators it houses under the hood.

Which means if you fall, if you take a hit from a gun and such, you should feel it really well. What’s interesting is that you could get both the hardware separately to pair with your existing gaming chair, which we aren’t too sure how the setup is going to be, but the Razer Freyja and Razer Clio are sold separately afterall.

At the end of the day, it is still a chair which will feature ergonomic features such as an integrated lumbar arch, dual-density cold-cured foam cushion, 4D armrest, can be reclined up to 152 degrees and a frog multi-tilt mechanism. Time will tell how much the entire setup will cost. In the meantime, we will keep you posted when it hits the stores.
