One of the new players in the audio, or well, in a consumer-centric product space, happens to be Fender Audio. While the name itself resonates differently with a different generation altogether, this time, they are hoping to make a bold presence in the market with products that cater to a wider audience. Meet the Fender ELIE Speakers and Fender MIX Headphones.
Fender Audio Malaysia Launch
Fender Audio MIX Headphones

The Fender Audio MIX Headphones caught us by surprise because they are really not like any other headphones we have seen in the market. Rather than going for the same approach or style of headphones as any other brands, Fender Audio MIX Headphones goes for a more music-slash-lifestyle type of audio gear that anyone can use.
It connects via Bluetooth, wired via both 3.5mm Jack and USB-C (Not something you see every day), and it even uses a USB-C transmitter for a more efficient LHDC-V and LC3 audio codec, for lower latency. Interestingly, it also supports Auracast, which again is a feature you don’t see on many headphones.

The headphones are powered by 2x 40mm Graphene Drivers and offer Hybrid Active Noise Cancellation, which is done with the help of dual microphones in the headphones. But what really caught our attention is the versatility and the modularity these headphones offer: everything can be replaced and done by a user. From the headphone cups, heading the headband, the dedicated L/R drivers, to the battery, they are going for a totally different approach, which we really like.

And for RM 1,399, these Headphones do bring a totally different kind of proposition to the market, which is very refreshing.
Fender Audio ELIE Speakers

And then there are the Fender Audio ELIE Speakers, which are an acronym for “Extremely Loud Infinitely Expressive” – and there are two models to choose from: the ELIE6 and ELIE12. The ELIE6 is a more compact speaker than the ELIE12; however, in person, both are equally compact enough to bring around however you want.

The ELIE6 has a 60W output with one full range speaker, one tweeter and a subwoofer, whereas the ELIE12 offers double the output at 120W and offers two full range speakers, two tweeter and two subwoofers. What’s amazing is that the connectivity of these speakers can make anyone happy.

You have support for all the SBC, AAC, LHDC and LC3 codecs (Sorry, LDAC fans) and offers an XLR connection for you to take it further, be it as an Amplifier for your guitars or as a PA System. Fender Audio did claim to release wireless accessories in the near future. These speakers are also tuned with Waves MaxxAudio for a better delivery, and it has IP54, which can handle splashes and such. Overall, again, a truly compelling package that exceeds many of the speakers out there.

The Fender Audio ELIE6 is priced at RM 1,399, whereas the Fender Audio ELIE12 is priced at RM 1,899.
All these products will be made available from March 2026, and we just might be one of the first few countries to get the product right after its debut at CES 2026.
