It’s that time of year when we see a lot of teasers and announcements leading up to the latest Samsung Unpacked event, where this year we will see the announcement of the new Galaxy S26 Series. One of the teasers that dropped happens to focus on the security aspect. Knox has been at the forefront of security on smartphones; however, this year, we might see a physical hardware that focuses on Privacy.

Samsung shares that this particular “new layer of privacy”, which shields your phone from shoulder surfing, will be a game changer. And this is to keep prying eyes away from your phone while you enter your credentials in your private applications and such. It appears that they are not limited to certain aspects of the phone; in fact, there are hints where you can customise it down to the specific application you use, or even a specific pop-up notification which can be fine-tuned to your liking.

If it’s really what we think it is, then guess what, the upcoming Samsung Galaxy S26 Series that’s going to be unveiled very soon just might be the phone that elevates the Knox experience, not just on a software level but on a hardware level as well. Or in Samsung’s words, “introducing privacy at a pixel level”.
