Adding on to the Mijia Ecosystem product lineup is the new Mijia Air Conditioner Eco (not to be confused with the Pro, which is a different model entirely). To find an Inverter air conditioner under RM 1600 is not an easy feat. And turns out the price has leaked ahead of the launch, which is supposed to happen on 24th March 2026.

There are two different variants made available for the Mijia Air Conditioner Eco. And according to the Shopee Store listing, the 1.0HP Inverter is priced at RM 1,299 and the 1.5HP Inverter is priced at RM 1,599, respectively. These are well-priced and will be available through online stores, with free delivery and installation, along with a 3-year general warranty and a 10-year warranty for the compressor.
The good thing about the Mijia Air Conditioner Eco is that it uses a Full DC inverter system, which means energy consumption during the day will be pretty amazing. On top of that, with its AI Energy Saving Mode, Xiaomi claims to offer 24.3% savings for the 1.0HP and 20.9% savings for the 1.5HP.
While you can control the air conditioner via the dedicated remote it comes with, the whole point of it being smart is for you to control it via your devices and have full control with energy usage monitoring, which is crucial, especially during the summertime, when you might just use a lot. Apart from that, the Mijia Air Conditioner Eco can do self-cleaning, and it has an easy-to-clean design for the filter as well.
At the time of writing, you cannot purchase the air-conditioner; however, on the 24th March 2026, at 8:00 pm, it will go on sale and, granted with vouchers, you can stack and perhaps even get a lot cheaper than the SRP. Something worth considering.
