There are two phones for you to choose from: the Xiaomi 17 and the Xiaomi 17 Ultra. If you are looking for a compact flagship that really does put other compact flagships in the market to shame, then look no further than the Xiaomi 17. The only thing that has improved this year happens to be the battery, which is now at 6330mAh and a new Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 processor under the hood.

The flagship Xiaomi 17 Ultra gets a new camera setup consisting of 1” Light Fusion 1050L LOFIC HDR sensor with a 75-100mm APO Summilux Telephoto lens which are the two new breakthroughs which you will find under the hood. Apart from that, you get the same Snapdragon experience with 8 Elite Gen 5 and the new flat display design would entice a lot of users out there.

The Xiaomi 17 starts at RM 3,299 for the 256GB and RM 3,799 for the 512GB. The Xiaomi 17 Ultra is priced at RM 5,499 for the 512GB and RM 5,999 for the 1TB variant.

Xiaomi Pad 8 Series

The improved Xiaomi Pad 8 Series is here and for those who want the most performance-centric tablet, then, the Xiaomi Pad 8 Pro will get you going. Powered by Snapdragon 8 Elite with a massive 9200mAh battery, 3.2K 144Hz display which supports Dolby Vision and with good speakers, you get the Atmos experience as well. It even gets an all new Xiaomi Focus Pen Pro with the same, if not similar keyboard sleeve as last year.

The more budget centric Pad 8 gets the Snapdragon 8s Gen 4 with a slower fast charging speed. Apart from that, the experience is similar to the Pro.

The Pro goes for RM 2,399 for 256GB + 8GB and RM 2,999 for 512GB + 12GB. The non Pro 8 goes for RM 1,599 for 128GB and RM 1,899 for 256GB.

Xiaomi Watch 5

The WearOS powered Xiaomi Watch 5 is here which is going to entice a lot of the Google OS aficionados as it comes with a 1.54” AMOLED display, support for Gemini, offers upto 6 days of ultra-long battery life and even supports Advanced health and fitness insights. All that with a nice premium finish, sapphire glass and two colours to choose from: Black and Green. It’s powered by the Snapdragon W5 Gen 1 and BES2800BP processors which switches back and forth to maintain a good battery life.

The Xiaomi Watch 5 is priced at RM 1,199.

Xiaomi UltraThin Magnetic Power Bank

For RM 259, while a lot of readers might think this is pricey, well, think again because this is the first Xiaomi Surge Silicon carbon battery powerbank which is ridiculously thin and offers both wired and wireless charging. It even offers MagSafe support for those who are looking for it.

Redmi Buds 8 Pro

Priced at RM 269, the new Redmi Buds 8 Pro offers similar experience as the Buds 5 Pro we reviewed not too long ago – with good Smart ANC upto 55dB, and even handles 5kHz ultra-wide frequency noise cancellation. With the triple-mic setup, it can even offer decent noise reduction in windy situations. Audiowise, it has a triple driver setup that will keep a lot of listeners happy for sure. Finally, if you do care about Dolby Audio experience then this does support it and you’d be happy with it.
