The third generation Intel Core Series processors are here and the laptops powering these processors are already making its wave into Malaysia. This time around these processors punches above its class, and it’s the improvement we have been looking for, from Intel.
Intel Core Series 3 Powered Laptops
Made it’s first appearance at CES 2026, the Intel Core Ultra Series 3 processor brings a lot of impressive performance, AI experience with its NPU and endurance into a lot of laptops for 2026. These processors are built on Intel 18A process, which is a newer architecture that helps deliver a better experience all in all in every department. With up to 50 TOPS NPU, and Xe3 graphics architecture, you are looking at a laptop that does even better at casual gaming, which was once a dream.
On top of that, the newer Intel Core Series 3, meant for laptops that’s going to be available for masses, gets quite the upgrade from its predecessor as well. Pitting it against a processor that came out five years ago, the Intel Core Series 3 is said to deliver upto 47% better single-thread performance, 41% better multi-thread performance and 2.8x improved GPU AI performance.
Under the hood, you also get support for Thunderbolt 4, WiFi 7 and Bluetooth 6 as well. Intel shares that there are more than 70 designs, i.e., laptops and devices powered by the Intel Core Series 3 to be rolled out in the coming months as well. Something to look forward to.
