Since Sony is celebrating their 10th Anniversary for the Sony 1000X series, of course the brand goes above and beyond in making a more premium offering. The Sony 1000X The Collexion Anniversary Edition is now available in Malaysia and here’s what you are truly getting for your pretty penny.

While the Sony 1000X The Collexion does carry the same DNA as the Sony WH-1000XM6, it does improve in certain areas which I personally have been waiting for. For starters, this is the first Sony headphones out of the box to support Auracast, making it seamless for you to switch between existing Auracast products in your home. Next up, the support for Bluetooth 6.0 and uses the much newer Sony V3 Processor to handle ANC and audio which now can be tuned according to the content you watch.
But what really puts this headphone on the pedestal is the build quality because this headphone is premium in every possible way. From the case, to the headphones, with metal bands and swiveling hinges for the cups, vegan leather as opposed to the soft touch material you’d see on the WH-1000XM6 and pit it side by side, you do notice a beautiful premium finish in every way possible.
That said, you do get the top-class experience as their WH-1000XM6 but now think of it as a more uber premium offering. Priced at RM 2,799, the Sony 1000X The Collexion is now available for consumers to purchase online or in stores. Aside from that, Sony Malaysia has added a new colour to the Sony WH-1000XM6, in Sandstone and its available for the same SRP as per launch on their site and in-store.
