Razer is known for their amazing gaming peripherals. We know for a fact that they make amazing products. At CES2018, Razer unveiled their Project Linda and also showcased some of the products for the consumer market. This time they unveiled the Razer Nommo, a PC Speaker that’s not only powerful but also has few tricks up it’s sleeves.

Razer Nommo


Razer Nommo is a Gaming Speaker made by Razer. The moment you look at it, it has a design of a Handheld Speed Camera. But there’s more. Inside each of these speakers packs a custom woven glass Fiber 3-inch drivers which provides better sound quality and sharpness. With the help of the glass fiber, the vibration is affected and gives a better sound frequency, which means more details in your audio experience.

On the back of these speakers, we will find the Rear-Facing Bass Ports. It’s made in a way to give out a fuller, richer audio quality. It also comes with a bunch of input on it like Headphone Jack, Aux In and Input as well. The volume and the bass can be controlled with the knob that’s located at the base of these speakers.

Want more? Well, Razer also added a variant that comes with the Chroma lighting which let’s you play with the RGB and customize the way you want it to be.

Razer Nommo Pro


The Razer Nommo Pro on the other hand is their THX Certified 2.1ch virtual surround gaming speakers. This particular speakers will not only give you the clarity but also the immersive feeling with it, thanks to the Dolby Audio and THX Certification.

The Speakers on these comes with an interesting dual driver setup. It comes with a 3-inch driver that’s coated with Dupont Kevlar fiber drivers and silk woven tweeters which are tuned by THX. The Dolby Virtual Surround Sound gives you a cinematic feel when you watch a movie and an immersive feel when you play some of your favorite title on your Gaming PC.

This particular speaker comes with a dedicated Subwoofer. This means you’ll get the most realistic experience possible with the bass vibrating the desk and so on. Don’t worry because these speakers also comes with Razer Chroma and you can program your lighting just the way you wanted. It also comes with a dedicated control pod to connect to the speakers and many more.

Pricing and Availability

In US, The Razer Nommo will go for $99.99 whereas the Chroma version will be sold for $149.99. The Razer Nommo Pro on the other hand will be sold for $499.99.  We have no information on when it’s going to get released in Malaysia but when it does, we will be the first one to share it with you guys.
