Moving into 2018, we are off to a great start with interesting Sci-Fi shows and here’s 4 Movie slash series that you need to watch and get your minds blown away.

Our Pick: Altered Carbon

Now, we have talked about this particular series like a gazillion times. In fact, we made a dedicated article on this particular series because it’s so good. Here’s a gist of the story:

More than 300 years in the future, society has been transformed by new technology, leading to human bodies being interchangeable and death no longer being permanent. Takeshi Kovacs is the only surviving soldier of a group of elite interstellar warriors who were defeated in an uprising. An uprising against the new world order. His mind was imprisoned for centuries until impossibly wealthy businessman Laurens Bancroft offers him the chance to live again. Kovacs will have to do something for Bancroft, though, if he wants to be resurrected. Bancroft’s request of Kovacs is to solve a murder – Bancroft’s.

You can read this article where we wrote why you should watch Altered Carbon.

The Cloverfield Paradox

Following the popular Cloverfield movies, we have another one – Cloverfield Paradox. This time, there’s an international group of astronauts about a space station who, after using a particle accelerator to try to solve earth’s energy crisis, must find a way home after accidentally traveling to an altered dimension. What makes this particular movie different from the rest – is the fact that it introduces the fan to a multiverse. Now that is epic.

This particular movie is a Sci-Fi-slash-mystery film. Remember the guy Alexander Skarsgard? Vampire Eric from True Blood? Well, he is in this movie with Paul Rudd and Justin Theroux. It’s a story of a mute bartender searching for the love of his life who has mysteriously disappeared.
