Yesterday, Asus Malaysia invited us over and showcased their all-new Asus Zenbook Pro 15 and the Vivobook S530U – you can click the respective model to read more about it. But in the showcase, there’s one other model that caught our eyes. It also happens to be a completely different laptop from the rest. Imagine the Zenbook 3 Deluxe gets sexy with some angular design. Meet the Zenbook S – possibly the laptop that caught my attention even though it wasn’t the main highlight

Asus Zenbook S: A sense of Sophistication and Fine Art

1/4

I personally have never seen a laptop sexier and has a lot of character to it. The Asus Zenbook S is one of those. The moment you look at it – you’ll notice the Burgundy Red shade with gold accents on top that is just so good to look at. Not to mention the ZenSpiral design up top adding a bit of flair to it. The moment you open the lid up, that’s where the magic happens. This is one of the Asus laptop that features the new ErgoLift design that lifts the body in a way that it is inclined – very smart. That reveals the insides – the fingerprint sensor, trackpad and the keyboard.

The ports on the sides are pretty much the same as the Zenbook 3 Deluxe which is my personal laptop. It has 2 x Thunderbolt 3.0 ports, 1 x USB-C 3.1 Gen2 Port with a Headphone jack on the Hinge just because there isn’t any space to put it on the body. Again, another smart move. Under the hood, it is said to pack an Intel Processor upto a Core i7 with a boost to 4.0GHz paired with upto 16GB RAM. As for the storage, it houses upto a 1TB of PCIe NVMe SSD under the hood.

The Display on this happens to be available in either FHD or 4K UHD Panel, in a 13.3” setup. The speakers on this thing is still tuned by Harman Kardon – which is completely alright. Finally, it’s also certified with a Military Grade build as it has passed various test in the process.
