Kingston has yet again unveiled a new SSD for the masses and this time, it’s the Kingston NV1 NVMe PCIe SSD – an entry-level NVMe SSD that doesn’t break the bank for users who are looking to either add or upgrade their existing storage on laptops or PCs.

The NV1 comes in three different choices of storages: 500GB, 1TB and 2TB, so users can choose whichever they’d want to opt in for. These drives offer a read/write speed of 2,100/1,700MB/s. You might wonder that if it’s the same or slightly similar to the Kingston A2000 which is also another offering from Kingston, but the speed and choice of capacity is a lot different – where the Kingston A2000 is rated at 2200MB/s Read and 2000MB/s Write. With that aside, the NV1 offers 3 times better performance as compared to a SATA based SSD and comes with 3-years of warranty.
Pricing and Availability
The NV1 starts at RM 269 for the 500GB, RM489 for 1TB and RM 939 for the 2TB – which is a decent price tag overall. If you do plan to purchase, you can get it from your local stores or through Kingston Official Stores.
