Sony Malaysia has announced the addition of a new color for the popular Sony LinkBuds S Earth Blue model that comes with a message of environmental sustainability.
Sony LinkBuds S Earth Blue
Sticking to the topic of blue, the Earth Blue color of the LinkBuds S is created with recycled resin material extracted from recycled water bottles which is the big hunk of the “water tank” stuck upside down into water dispensers across offices and public buildings alike. As part of Sony’s CSR goals of partaking in sustaining the environment, the earbuds’ body and the charging case itself all contained recycled resin material that gives off the marble texture and looks. The packaging material has also been revised to contain no plastic as well.
But in terms of functionality, it is identically the same. Striking the hearts of users with its superior low weight of just 4.8g for extreme comfort, the LinkBuds S offers high-quality audio thanks to the Integrated Processor V1 chip and LDAC codec working with the 5mm driver together seamlessly. Adding DSEE Extreme 4 to the mix and you can enjoy your uncompressed music files the way they should with up to 14 hours of playback duration.
Although a slightly special product, Sony Malaysia is still pricing the Earth Blue model of the LinkBuds S at RM929 which is no different than the existing colors. The official launch day is slated for November 14 so try to grab it on day 1 from places like the official Sony website if you have the chance.
