The Acer Predator Orion 3000 and Acer Nitro 50 has been around for a good while and these two desktops finally get a new specification upgrade for 2023 – 13th Generation Intel Processors and NVIDIA GeForce RTX 30 Series GPUs.
Predator Orion 3000
Housed in that same tinted glass and metal case, these new Predator Orion 3000 now packs the latest Intel 13th Generation Core i7 Processor and up to NVIDIA GeForce RTX 3070 graphics card. Following that comes equipped with up to 16GB DDR5 RAM and 1TB M.2 PCIe SSD. The desktop comes equipped with an optional EMI-compliant transparent side panel and RGB LED for that bling on your desk. As for better thermals, it houses 3x 92x92mm Predator FrostBlade 2.0 fans.
Acer Nitro 50 Desktop
The Acer Nitro 50 Desktop gets a nice facelift making it look edgier and has the new Nitro logo on the side panel. That said, this desktop to gets up to 13th Generation Intel Core i7 processor with NVIDIA GTX 1650 graphics card – which would suit a casual gaming user. On top of that, you do get 8GB of DDR4 RAM and 512GB of M.2 2280 PCIe SSD and room for upgrades down the line. There’s even a wireless charger for users to have the ability to charge their phones or even peripherals.
Pricing and Availability
The Orion 3000 ranges from RM 5,999 to RM 7,999 depending on the specification you opt-in for. Whereas the Nitro 50 Desktop comes in just two configurations – the i5 going for RM 3,799 and the i7 going for RM 5,099.
