As much as I love a good thin and light laptop, usually it comes at a price – especially with the early adoption of new hardware which is without a doubt ramping up the cost, Acer Malaysia has definitely found a formula that works and better yet, a thin-and-light laptop that will get anyone wanting to get one pretty excited – and that’s the Acer Swift Go.
Acer Swift Go Malaysia
Acer Swift Go is a completely new thin and light laptop which is aimed to bring that ultimate thin and light profile for users craving it. This laptop weighs about 1.25kg and is constructed in a 14.9mm aluminium chassis – which is just great. The Acer Swift Go offers 13 hours of battery life which is excellent as the laptop will spend more time on the road than connected to a wall adapter.
The laptop touts a 14” FHD IPS display with a 90% screen-to-body ratio and comes with an AMD Ryzen 7 7730U processor with up to 16GB LPDDR4X RAM and 512GB SSD. As for the ports, you get USB-C, HDMI 2.1, and a microSD card slot as well.
Acer has also unveiled another thin and light to its portfolio and that’s the Acer Swift 14.
Acer Swift 14
This Acer Swift 14 is pretty much the same as what we covered in our CES 2023 where we got to take a closer look at it. That said, to give a brief summary of the specification:
- 13th Generation Intel Core i7 H series processor
- Intel Iris Xe Graphics
- 1TB SSD with upto 16GB of LPDDR5 RAM
- 14” WQXGA IPS Display with Antimicrobial Corning Gorilla Glass
Pricing and Availability
