Acer Connect Enduro M3 Mobile Wi-Fi
We are at Computex 2023 where we are checking out and covering some of the coolest technologies that are being released very soon. But that said, Acer has some interesting products up their alley and seeing them venture into other areas of tech and incorporate lifestyle elements has been pretty exciting. One product that got my attention is the Acer Connect Enduro M3 Mobile Wi-Fi.
Acer Connect Enduro M3 Mobile Wi-Fi
The Acer Connect Enduro M3 Mobile Wi-Fi happens to be a very simple device which does something we all know – it’s a portable pocket Wi-Fi solution. But given that lately, their existence has been pretty scarce in many countries – specifically in Malaysia, which makes sense, given our Mobile Internet providers aren’t that great, to begin with.
But the idea behind this device from Acer is pretty good and smart as well. Now, right away you will notice the rugged finish which falls right into the Enduro Category – as it automatically handles drops and hits like a tank. Because it is designed with the whole portability and “anything-can-happen” factor. That said, it does look pretty cool. Otherwise, you have IP54 certification for better ingress protection.

Under the hood, this device has the potential to handle pretty much any bands of 4G LTE and 5G which happens to be the prime focus of this device. Sadly, no support for mmWave for US consumers but from the looks of it, there is a chance it might happen with other future models – granted they are planning to enter the US Market anyway. That said, what intrigues me is the ability to use eSIM which is a fantastic addition, making it a whole lot easier to set up, use and get it up and running.

Case in point: Since we are here in Taipei, if we happen to have Acer Connect Enduro M3 Mobile Wi-Fi – we could purchase a Virtual SIM or eSIM and bind it to the hotspot, giving us instant access to the internet with no issues whatsoever. Acer is also adding some FOTA in the future where the 6000mAh battery in it can double as a power bank. Neat in-case-of-emergency solution if you ask me.

From a specs perspective, it is powered by an Octa-core 2.4GHz processor with 3GB of LPDDR4x and 8GB eMMC storage. It supports Nano SIM and as for the vSIM, it uses Signal Scan. The Wi-Fi band it keeps hits up to ax 2×2 MIMO – which is pretty good.
I got to say, the Acer Connect Enduro M3 Mobile Wi-Fi is a nice device to have especially when you do plan to travel or just have a portable internet solution where it lasts longer than a smartphone with a SIM card.
