With Magic the Gathering Wilds of Eldraine making its way to Local TCG stores in September, previews and spoilers are almost out – well for the most part at least. WOE is going to (again) bring back some reprints of great cards which we have seen getting reprinted in the last few months. This time around with a new coat of paint and art, the Wilds of Eldraine Enchanting Tales is definitely here to be a sight to behold. Take a look at it.

Wilds of Eldraine Enchanting Tales Art

Okay, we aren’t going to go into the other aspects of Wilds of Eldraine solely because we know what to expect. But what’s important is the Wilds of Eldraine Enchanting Tale cards that you can get from this set. For one, the Enchanting Tales is a bonus sheet card to this set that “co-exist” with the WOE cards. Now, while some of the cards or most of them aren’t flavourful from a text standpoint, they do hit that fairy tale flavour of WOE.

For instance, some of the cards like Smothering Tithe, Greater Auramancy, Curiosity, Rhystic Study, Doubling Season, Necropotence, Aggravated Assault, Prismatic Omen and more to be seen – which totals upto 63 Enchanting Tales (that’s 15 mythic rares, 30 rares and 18 uncommons) will be a part of this set. Now, for players like myself, this gives me the opportunity to own cards I have never owned, from older sets.

But it doesn’t stop there… Because the Anime treatment is back to satisfy every otaku out there.

Wilds of Eldraine Enchanting Tale Anime Art

This isn’t going to be the first time that some of the anime-art fans are about to lose their minds over some of the best-made cards – in fact, it has happened before with the Jumpstart 2022 set where we got a decent number of Anime art. This time, players get to taste the glorious borderless treatment Anime cards, which will also be a part of the set of course. This one, however, will have 15 mythic rares and 5 select rares from the Enchanting Tales Bonus Sheet.

Some of them are – Smothering Tithe, Greater Auramancy, Rhystic Study, Aggravated Assault, Doubling Season and so on.

Where Can I find these Cards in WOE?

The good news about these Wilds of Eldraine Enchanting Tales cards – you can find them in all the boxes: Draft, Set and Collector Boosters. The Enchanting Tales are guaranteed at least one in every pack of the Draft and Set but 3-4 in Collector Boosters. Anime versions will be in some packs, granted they are the rarest cards and will be sought after.

These cards will get a special foil treatment, called Confetti Foil that will be available only in Collector Boosters. While this does sound nice, the odds of cracking the Anime Borderless cards are going to be very slim. According to Wizards at least based on the statement below:

“Draft and Set Boosters each have a dedicated slot that will always have an Enchanting Tales card. In 2.8% (1.1% rare/1.7% mythic rare) of boosters, that dedicated slot will have an anime borderless card. Set Boosters have 2 wildcard slots where both Enchanting Tales and anime borderless Enchanting Tales cards have a small chance to drop as well.”

So, get ready for another round of excitement – in fact, we are looking forward to it too. Stay tuned to us for more information on WOE and MTG.
