Fast-charging power banks are getting faster than ever because, for some weird reason, people can’t wait an hour to charge their phones. But anyway, if you are that ultra busy and always catching an Uber everywhere, you spend less time near a power outlet. So, the UGREEN Nexode Power Bank Series are now available in Malaysia, though it costs a pretty penny – for good reasons.
UGREEN Nexode Power Bank
The UGREEN Nexode Power Bank Series comes in two flavours: a 20000mAh and a 12000mAh respectively. Both power banks have different specifications ideal for what they are supposed to perform.
Starting with the UGREEN Nexode Power Bank 12000mAh: which houses a USB-C and USB-A port capable of outputting at 100W, which itself is pretty crazy. This is a pretty decent power bank already given most devices including laptops rely heavily on 100W. On top of that, it does come with an LCD Display capable of showing battery level and smiley faces – which I guess is a nice novelty.
The UGREEN Nexode Power Bank 20000mAh takes a bit further by including 2 USB-C and 1 USB-A that can push the wattage to 130W. This is probably the specced-out power bank you can get in this series. The display even gets an upgrade where it shows a much more detailed battery status, wattage, voltage and the emoji face which we see with the 12k variant.
What might be concerning is how these power banks can keep their cool and for that UGREEN has incorporated 13 layers of safety protection which includes a flame retardant casing, better heat dissipation and long lifespan.
Pricing and Availability
As for pricing, the UGREEN Nexode Power Bank 12000mAh is going for RM 278.85 (but you will see it being discounted heavily) which appears to be discounted whereas the 20000mAh variant is going for RM 487.92 (it’s also discounted too).
