One of the brands in the gaming sphere that has carried a significant weight for decades happens to be Alienware. They were the definition of premium gaming devices until ROG stepped in and claimed the throne. It’s no secret that Alienware has struggled, but it turns out that 2026 might be a turning point for the brand, as they have teased that an entry-level Alienware Gaming Laptop is on the way.
CES 2026 Entry-Level Alienware Gaming Laptop
Based on the information Dell shared with us officially, there are two new laptop lineups we are going to see, added to the existing Alienware portfolio: that’s Entry-class Laptops and Ultra-slim laptops. Two categories of laptop, I’d say, Alienware’s Achilles heel, as they have never ventured into that space.

However, what they have shared seems to be pretty enticing. Starting with the ultra-slim gaming laptops, which are said to be 17mm thin (For comparison, the XPS 14 and 16 are 14.6mm thin) and will offer high performance and satisfy users who love their portability. For starters, their goal is to fit in as much performance as possible into a 16-inch laptop that is 50% smaller in volume compared to their 16-inch Area-51, which is a monstrous laptop. While they may not be able to match the performance to the Area-51, the goal is to offer the best performance for an ultra-thin, which personally, I can get behind.

Now with that, the brand aims to give good design with good build, premium materials, long battery life and an aesthetic that blends into any environment. Finally, they are making two sizes: 14 and 16 inches.
And then there’s the Entry Level laptop, which claims to offer the essentials, a clean design and good performance in a price bracket that Alienware laptops have never ventured into. So, our hunch is that we might see the mid-tier NVIDIA or AMD Radeon GPUs powering these laptops. Though this information is rather vague, I am still excited to see what these two lineups of laptops are going to bring us. We sure are excited.
