MyFirst, a Singapore-based brand, has ventured into the Malaysian market with its take on redefining a kid’s relationship with technology, with safer approaches taken with their products. That said, there are six products MyFirst Malaysia has launched, which we are going to take a quick look at.

myFirst Insta Lux

Think of an Instant Camera, but for kids, because that’s exactly what the myFirst Insta Lux is all about. Both on the front and back of the camera, there’s a dual-5MP sensor with a 2.8” IPS display, the ability to connect to WiFi, and you can even transfer digital photos from your phone via the app to print photos as well.

Unlike a ZINC paper, which has crystals that get heated up and the photos are printed, myFirst Insta Lux does dye-sublimation instead, which is a better option for long-lasting prints, and the colours are a little more vibrant as well. On top of that, it has 64GB expandable storage, USB-C charging, and since it’s used by kids, the company has made sure that it fits in a child’s hand easily.

Priced at RM 799, it will come with two complimentary refill packs worth RM98.

myFirst Fone M1

Apart from the camera, the myFirst Fone M1 is their RM 399-priced smartwatch phone with the ability to make voice calls, offers real-time GPS tracking and focuses on making sure that the parents can stay connected and in control as well.

myFirst Frame Clario

While this may not be aimed specifically at kids, but its aimed at families, as it is a digital smart frame with a 7” display that can do private photo sharing and one-tap video calls within the myFirst ecosystem. So think of this as a device that offers a secure line to your children with the myFirst Fone, for instance.

myFirst Sketch Board Pro

Tablets are not the best things you can give to a kid; hear us out on that. Which is why the myFirst Sketch Board Pro at RM 199 is supposed to take these developing eyes away from smartphone screens to a blank slate where they can let their creativity flow, like they could sketch, brainstorm, and so much more. Better than letting kids draw on the wall.

myFirst Carebuds Max

With our review in progress, the myFirst Carebuds Max is their RM 169 earbuds that really take the developing ears of kids seriously. The earbuds specifically focus on delivering a safe decibel to a kid’s ear and have interchangeable ear cups for personalisation. Not something you see every day if you ask us.

myFirst 3DPen Make Creator Kit

Finally, since we are in this 3D Printing era and kids love drawing, the RM 299 myFirst 3D Pen Make Creator Kit, which is certified by the Malaysian Conformity Mark for toy safety and uses safe PCL filaments, this low-temperature creator kit allows kids’ imaginations to come to life in the way they have always wanted to. So, those imaginary characters are no longer imaginary. Babadook here I come!

Roadshow and Promotions

Happening at Sunway Pyramid, LG2 Orange Concourse, from 26th till 29th March 2026, there will be demo sessions for kids and parents to check out, try the products and perhaps bring some of the products back home. The first 100 customers to purchase the Insta Lux on 28th March will also receive a free Fone M1 worth RM 399.
