This time around the Predator Lineup was more of an improvement over its predecessors and probably one or two devices that’s new to the lineup. It didnt end there, they even went as far as making an Energy Drink and a Gaming Chair in collaboration with OSIM – yeah, read that. But that out of the way, this time at [email protected], here’s what Acer had to offer.

Predator Helios 300

The Helios 300 gets certain upgrades over its predessors. This time around the display has gotten a huge boost in refresh rates – hitting a whopping 240Hz 3ms Response time. The thermals are said to be improved with the inclusion of the new 4th Generation AeroBlade 3D Fans. In terms of speficiation, it also get the 10th Generation treatment with GPU upto NVIDIA GeForce RTX 2070 Max-Q and sadly there isn’t a Super variant.

Predator Helios 700

Last year back in Computex 2019, we got to see the Predator Helios 700 in person and the laptop carries everything from its predecessor over to the new one with improved specification – such as an Overclockable 10th Gen Intel Core i9 Processor and an NVIDIA GeForce RTX 2080 Super. This time, the thermal part of the laptop also gotten an improvement – they call it the PowerGem. It’s basically their thermal solution which involves a 15.5mm Fan and Vapor Chamber to cool the system. According to their comparison with another brand which uses Liquid Metal, Acer claims that the Helios 700 handles better temperature in Cinebench R20.

Predator Orion 9000

Orion is a decked out Desktop PC from Predator and its one of those PC that you can only dream of. It has gotten a little facelift with ARGB Fans and Strip Lights on the front which looks nicer than the previous Orion. For the thermals, they are using FrostBlade Technology to keep the system cool and it has an EMI Shielding on the glass panel. Acer said that this is done to avoid the interference while using a Microphone – so for you streamers out there, I bet you’ll love that. While keeping the glass transparent, they have made the components go for an all-black finish which is in my opinion, god-like.

Specs-wise – this system can go up to an Intel Core i9-10980XE Extreme Edition Processor and a whopping 2x GeForce RTX 2080Ti with NVIDIA NVLINK.

Predator X25 Monitor

The Predator X27 is still one of my, if not the only favorite monitor I have in my list. The X25 is a little lower than that but offers a new kind of goodness to the table. The monitor comes with an Adaptive Light feature where the display adapts accordingly to your room lighting situration to ease your eyes. Speaking of eyes, you get all the Sense sensors – LightSense, ColorSense and ProxiSense to go along with it. Finally, since it’s a gaming laptop – you also get the added advantage of NVIDIA G-Sync for Pure goodness.
