Dyson helping you celebrate a cleaner Hari Raya

TIP 1: Clean your car in preparation for balik kampung

Cleaning the inside of your car is actually a simple task when you use the lightweight and strong Dyson Digital Slim Fluffy Extra cordless vacuum with the appropriate attachments. Before you start vacuuming away, Dyson recommends you to prepare a bag for waste disposal.

Next, make sure the car doors are open for ventilation and remove the floor mats. Once you’ve done this then you can start vacuuming beginning with the seats with special attention to the seams as much small debris is usually found there. You can utilise the Light Pipe Crevice tool to help illuminate dark and tight spaces.

Next, click-in the Mini-motorised tool and slowly vacuum the upholstery on the seats to get rid of stubborn dirt and debris. You can even use the ‘Boost’ mode for some extra power to your sucking.

Then, with the soft nylon bristles extended, use your Combination tool to remove dust and grime off the automobile body. Vacuum the dashboard and between the vents gently. Remove any markings or stains from the dashboard with a moist cloth and allow it to dry completely.

Finally, turn your attention to the flooring and floor mats, and use the Mini-motorised tool to scrub out any hard filth, as the strong nylon bristles will aid to scrape away dried grime.

TIP 2: Give your carpets and hard floors a deep clean

To clean hard-to-reach areas around the border of the carpet, use a Reach Under tool, or use the Direct Drive Cleaner head to eliminate dust hidden in thick pile rugs.

Slowly vacuum. Vacuuming slowly allows the airflow and brush bar more time to “agitate” and remove the dust and grime between the carpet fibres. It also increases your chances of capturing unseen allergens hiding deep within the carpet pile.

With a precisely-angled green laser integrated into a Fluffy cleaner head and Acoustic Dust Sensing technology, a vacuum like the powerful, intelligent, and compact Dyson V12 Detect Slim Total Clean can provide assurance of a deep clean for hard floors and carpets, as laser dust detection reveals dust particles invisible to the eye.

The Dyson Digital Slim Fluffy Extra is RM2,299 on special, while the Dyson V12 Detect Slim Total Clean is RM3,599. Both cordless vacuums are only available from the official Dyson website and Dyson Demo Stores across the country.

TIP 3: Purify your indoor air quality at home

The Dyson Purifier Cool Formaldehyde collects viruses, allergens, and dust while continually destroying formaldehyde and projecting purified air across the room. It is certified asthma and allergy friendly by Allergy Standards Limited.

Cool Dyson Purifier Formaldehyde air purifiers detect formaldehyde using a sophisticated solid-state sensor and eliminate it with Dyson’s Selective Catalytic Oxidisation (SCO) filter.

Because certain formaldehyde sensors are gel-based, they might dry up over time, reducing the precision and effectiveness of the sensor. Dyson’s formaldehyde sensor is solid-state, meaning it will not dry up and will endure the lifespan of the machine.

The purifier is equipped with sophisticated air quality sensors that have been tested against POLAR test standards. It also has a fully-sealed filtration system, an activated carbon filter to remove gases, and a Glass HEPA filter that captures 99.95% of microscopic allergens and pollutants as small as 0.1 microns, such as allergens, bacteria, pollen, and mould.

Users can also obtain real-time live indoor air quality reports via an LCD display and the Dyson Link app.

The Dyson Purifier Cool Formaldehyde costs RM3,199 and is only available via the official Dyson website and Dyson Demo Stores across the country.
