Samsung launched the new Samsung Galaxy Z Flip4 and Z Fold4 foldable smartphones during their Unpacked event last month. The company also announced a Samsung Galaxy Z Flip4 Bespoke Edition but what is the Bespoke Edition? Should users even bother getting it?
Samsung Galaxy Z Flip4 Bespoke Edition: Explained
First introduced with last year’s Samsung Galaxy Z Flip3, the Samsung Galaxy Z Flip4 Bespoke Edition is a customisable version of the Z Flip4. Users can choose their personalised colour combination, different from the current colour options offered on the regular version of the Galaxy Z Flip4. The Bespoke Edition lets users truly make their copy of the Samsung Galaxy Z Flip4 very much their own through the provided Bespoke Studio.
Samsung claims that the Samsung Galaxy Z Flip4 Bespoke Edition has 75 colour combinations to choose from, a little less than double the 49 colour combinations offered with the Samsung Galaxy Z Flip3 Bespoke Edition. Not only that, the new Bespoke Edition can now be purchased in Malaysia whereas its predecessor was only available in 7 regions.
There are a few slight caveats though for those considering purchasing the Samsung Galaxy Z Flip4 Bespoke Edition as users will only be limited to just a single storage option. While the regular version offers three storage options; 8GB + 128GB/256GB/512GB; the Bespoke Edition only has 8GB + 256GB available.

Moreover, the Bespoke Edition is a full RM200 more expensive than the regular version, at RM4,599 compared to the regular 256GB version’s RM4,399. On top of that, users will have to wait for 3 to 4 weeks before they can receive their Bespoke Edition, which is a lot later than those who purchase the regular version of the Samsung Galaxy Z Flip4.
Samsung Galaxy Z Flip4 Bespoke Edition: Should you buy one?
With that being said, the Samsung Galaxy Z Flip4 Bespoke Edition allows those who want to fulfil the need for a unique and wholly personalised version of a smartphone. Something that they can truly call theirs. Also, 256GB is quite a substantial amount of storage and will take quite a while to fill up.
Apart from the storage option, the internals of the Bespoke Edition is pretty much the same as the regular ones as it’s got the same camera, the same processor, and the same materials. Ultimately, users won’t be missing all that much if they go down this route.
All in all, it is up to you if you’d like to purchase the Samsung Galaxy Z Flip4 Bespoke Edition. The Bespoke Edition is available through the official Samsung website here.
Samsung is also having promotions with many freebies (including a Galaxy Watch4!) when you purchase either a Galaxy Z Flip4 or Fold4. More information on that is right here. In the meantime, you can also check out our review of the Samsung Galaxy Z Flip4.
